Is a 2012 Apocalypse Possible?

There are rumors going around that the 2012 apocalypse predictions mean that we are facing the end of the world in 2012. Before we get deep into the topic, let us first explain what apocalypse means.

Apocalypse can be defined as a vision or revelation that is only disclosed to privileged persons. The Holy Bible is the main source for apocalyptic testimonies that were usually received through a dream or a vision.

Visions such as those received by the prophet Daniel and the Apostle John are examples of apocalyptic visions which are attested to in the books of Daniel and Revelation in the Bible. The visions do refer to the end of days including the coming of Christ, the rise of the antichrist, Armageddon , and the judgment of God which is probably why the word apocalypse is used to describe the end of the world.

If you believe like we do that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, you can't possibly believe that the world will suddenly end in 2012.

The apocalypse 2012 might be the beginning of the end of days, some cataclysms might happen, Christ might come, but the Bible says that there will be many signs, some that have not yet happened, before the world comes to end.

We keep asking ourselves, "Why 2012?"

The Bible says the Lord will come like thief, and Jesus warned that we should be ready because he will come at an hour when we do not expect him. Therefore, nobody really knows exactly when everything will go down.

The most important thing is that you are ready to meet the Lord and to join him during the Rapture. Nobody on this earth can tell you exactly when that will be.
